Exercise with Oxygen
A form of passive cardiovascular exercise, you can burn up to 600 calories per session! Breathing in pure oxygen during your session provides the tissues in your body with more power to repair and regenerate and encourages your circulatory system to perform at peak performance.
Steam and Far Infrared Rays (FIR)
Adding warmth and moisture to your skin, steam helps to facilitate the actions of the other modalities whilst the infrared sauna provides seven times the detoxifying benefits of conventional saunas.
Carbonic Acid (CO2)
In the beginning of your session, CO2 reacts with the steam in the chamber to form carbonic acid. Entering through your pores and increasing circulation, it is one of the few compounds that can increase the uptake and delivery of oxygen at the cellular level working to calm and balance your autonomic nervous system.
Ozone
Once the CO2 cycle has ended the ozone cycle starts and continues for the rest of the session. Nature’s own sterilisation process, the ozone is a key player in the effectiveness of the sauna. It powerfully works it’s magic diffusing through the skin to neutralise foreign cells, remove toxins, oxygenate tissues, reduce pain, provide an anti-inflammatory response, immune support and much more. Cleaning up the body and converting back to oxygen when it’s finished, building your energy stores.
Frequency Specific Microcurrents
With over 100 programs to choose from, microcurrent programs can be set to stimulate certain areas in the body that need support such as nerve pain, damage or injury, scar tissue or muscle tightness or adrenal support.
Photon Light Therapy
Utilising the colours of the spectrum, full spectrum colour light fills the HOCATT chamber to regenerate cells, increase blood flow, powers up the immune system, and helps to facilitate healing and health maintenance. From soothing and relaxing to balancing and energising, the light therapy helps stimulate positive metabolic changes throughout your body.
Aromatherapy
Essentials oils specific to your healing process can be added to the chamber to aid and support specific health concerns and enhance your experience.
How to prepare for your session
Drinking plenty of pure water the night before and prior to your appointment, is an important first step. Along with a good night’s sleep and eating a light meal or snack shortly beforehand.
After your session
Your skin will be feeling amazing and clean, we recommend not taking a shower until the next day so you can get the most benefit out of your HOCATT™️ session. Continue to drink plenty of water.
